Content Aspects

The website I have chosen is the home page for the senior infotech class. I feel this website is very organized and very efficient in terms of getting what you need completed, completed. The interface on the website is very easy navigate. The tabs are very easy to locate and are very distinguished from the rest of the content. I like how the search bar along with the contact info are located on every page. I feel that this shows me that the publisher cares and that if any questions arise regarding the location of any information or regarding the website, I can search through or email the owner of the site. I also like the contrast, the white and green/yellow on the black background is very easy to read. It pops out and attracts my attention, but to an acceptable level. Breadcrumbs is also a feature I really like. It allows me to navigate to previously viewed pages without much hassle. The menu on the side for each tab is also very organized. The target audience is the students of the class. Its sole purpose is to provide the required information and contact info for the students in case they have any questions or concerns. The website content is also useful information. It also uses headers and sub headers very effectively. This site is content heavy. I believe this accurately fits the needs for the website though. It is only meant to inform so multimedia and animations would only result in the distraction of the users. The site isn't updated as often as other websites. I find this acceptable though considering the fact that this course usually runs every semester. The information and the criteria doesn't vary at all either so the updating process isn't as important. But the fact that is the teacher's website is the only reason i would ever visit this website. It doesn't really have any other attractive aspects to it.
